A. “¿Qué años tenemos?”
—————————————-
It’s not A because it says “how old are we?” Valeria response refers to herself, she is telling Juan her age, so that question wouldn’t make sense with her response. If you say “Tenemos” you are saying “we have”

B. “¿Cuantos años tengo?”
—————————————————
It’s not B because “tengo” means “I have” when you ask someone about what THEY have, you say “tienes” when u ask one person, and “tienen” when it’s 2 or more.
Valeria’s answer says “I have 16” so Juan’s question should have “tienes”

C. “¿Cuántos años tienes?”
———————————————
It’s C because it’s asking Valeria “how old are you” which makes sense with her response “I have 16”

D. “¿Cuántos años tienen?”
————————————————
it’s not D because “tienen” would be used towards more than one person, “tienes” means someone having something (singular). Valeria’s response refers to herself, translated it’s “I have 16” so Juan’s response should only be towards Valeria.

Notes:
“Tengo” = “I have”
“Tenemos” = “we have”
“Tienes” = “you have”
“Tienen” = “have”/ “they have” (towards more than 1 person)
