The fables theme deals with procrastination. The ants were persistently working hard regardless of seasons. During summer, they worked hard and stored enough food to survive during the winter. The Grasshopper was procrastinating or being lazy through the summer, he was singing instead of working. Because of his inactions, he will starve the winter.
The subject or (theme) within the tale is perseverance or ( Diligence ) because the paragraph talks about how the ants work hard to survive. The defenition of diligence is being cautious and determined work or exertion. The evidence that can be utilized to back this subject are The ants were tirelessly working difficult notwithstanding of seasons. During the summer, they worked hard on storing nourishment sufficient to survive during the winter. Besides, they are planning the food as they dry it after winter. So they don’t starve.
