The category or type of cummunication that includes tone of voice, appearance, body language and facial expression is the non-verbal one. Nonverbal communication provides the reciever with much more information about the speaker than verbal communication does. For example, we can tell the speaker's sarcasm, deception, genuineness, happiness, aggressiveness, etc. through facial expressions, hand gestures, posture, appearance, clothes.
