What is Neoclassical?

Neoclassicism was a Western cultural movement that took influence from classical antiquity's art and culture in the decorative and visual arts, literature, theater, music, and architecture.
Virgil Reading to Augustus (1812) and Oedipus and the Sphinx (1812) are two examples of his Neoclassical work (1864).

I think maybe it’s all about from the perspective that the apple sees. to the human eye we see a room first, and then see the details, the first thing i saw when looking at this was the apple. it shows the perspective and the things we find more ‘important’ pop out to us first. So although it may seem strange the apple is the focal point.
Answer:
Dim the lights, not too much, just noticeably dimmed. Have sheets waving slowly to imitate wind and the have stage-hands run their hands left to right (audience perspective) across the screen behind the stage, but out of the view of the audience and actors. Depending on the scene, use dark gray or silver ribbons being blown the same direction as the stage hands behind the screen. Slow showers of light glitter from a catwalk with work as well, but it could effect the actors.
