The correct answer is A. Defend your point of view…

Explanation:

An argumentative text, which is the type of text requested in an argumentative prompt, is one in which the writer needs to present his position or point of view about a subject and then use arguments along with reliable evidence to explain, support and defend this position. Because of this, the words that indicate an argumentative writing prompt is " Defend your point of view…" as this is the main objective or purpose in this type of texts. Also, other options are incorrect as "Explain how" belongs to an expository writing prompt, "Compare and contrast..." to a comparing and contrasting text and "Summarize" to a summary.

Hello. You didn't attach the poem or even say the title of the poem, which makes it impossible for me to answer your question accurately, but I will help you as much as I can by showing you how to find your answer.

The simile makes comparisons between elements that have different contexts, but that has a characteristic between both that can be related creating a new meaning and concept between one of these elements. In other words, the simile aims to show a concept shared between two different elements. This type of comparison, within a poem, can create a message pattern, where the entire poem is aimed at maintaining the tone that the simile projected during the comparison.

An example of this can be seen in the phrase "My heart fell in life like a star wounded by a hunter's arrow," where the hunter's heart and arrow are different elements, but promote the feeling of pain and sadness when compared.

Mistakes are a key part of discovery. If we didn't make mistakes we would never know the difference between right and wrong whether it is in science  or in life. How would we know how the world worked without mistaken theories and learning off of those to create a correct understanding of the world around us. If we didn't make mistakes with the people we know and care for then we wouldn't have created the definition of the golden rule. Mistakes are the key to discovery in so many things. There is so much unknown but with our mistakes, we will be able to find out so much more
