Which two methods of Waste Management do you believe are best for society

The two methods of Waste Management that I believe are best for society are:

1- Recycling: Recycling is the process of converting waste materials into new materials and objects. This method not only helps to reduce the amount of waste produced, but it also allows to reuse resources that would otherwise be scrapped. Also, it presents no cost to the regular citizen, being that they would only have to separate their trash.

2- Waste minimization: Eliminating waste is usually very negative for the environmet. Incinerating it, buring in in landfills or throwing it to the sea; they all have negative consequences and cannot be sustained for much longer. Therefore, I believe it is necessary to raise awareness about the amount of trash we produce, so as to try and reduce it as much as we can. One way of reducing would be recycling.

Recycling refers to the is the conversion of different things or materials to new objects which can still be usable. While the landfilling is a place to dump the waste materials and it can serve as a fertilizer to the soil and enrich it.

Which excerpt from The Great Fire best supports the theme that there was a sense of hope that the city would rebuild after the f
Hitman42 [59]

Answer:

“Alfred Sewell ended his discussion of Chicago with a stirring prediction: ‘The city will nevertheless rise again, nay, is already rising, like the Phoenix, from her ashes. And she will, we believe, be a better city as well as a greater one, than she was before her disaster.’”

This is the best option because it gives the feeling of hope. The image of the Phoenix rising out of the ashes is meant to show that Chicago will once rise again. It will come back and be even better. The quote says that the city will "rise again" and "is already rising". Two of the other options only speak of the devastation of the fire. The option about the workers tells about the demand for laborers but it doesn't necessarily evoke a sense of hope in rebuilding.

In the movie Ann frank how do the franks get caught in while their in hiding?
Natasha_Volkova [10]
Friday 5 July 2002 05.38 EDT First published on Friday 5 July 2002 05.38 EDT It was an anonymous phone call in the hot summer of 1944 which led the Gestapo and Dutch security police to the concealed annexe in a canalside house where Anne Frank and her family had hidden for almost two years. For almost 60 years, the identity of that informant, whose call had such tragic consequences, has remained a mystery to historians and the most dogged Nazi hunters.

But Dutch government historians disclosed yesterday that two new theories about who betrayed 15-year-old Jewish schoolgirl Anne Frank to the Nazis in occupied Amsterdam are so compelling that they are reopening their investigations.

How to create an analogy?
Monica [59]

Well..

For example, “Life is a box of chocolates.” An analogy is saying something is like something else to make some sort of explanatory point. For example, “Life is like a box of chocolates—you never know what you're gonna get.” You can use metaphors and similes when creating an analogy.
