Explain how the soilders living in trenches were living with the dead

Live in the trenches was really hard, and often food was missing, there was limited higene, and there was a high likelihood of being wounded. This means that very often men died.

When they did, they could not be properly buries, as this was too dangerous. so the living had to "live" together with the dead bodies of their colleagues.
