Answer: Passage D: A democratic government did nothing to stem the flow of high inflation and unemployment that seemed to grow worse week by week. People grew desperate for change.

This is the passage that most closely resembles Nazi ideology. The passage states that the democratic government of Germany was not successful in controlling either inflation or unemployment. These were two of the reasons for the rise of Nazism. The Nazi party promised to fix these problems in a much more efficient and long-lasting manner than that of the democratic government. This made them extremely popular.
