To work this question out, you just have to divide 17 2/3 by 9 days
17 2/3= 53/3
9= 9/1
53/3 ÷ 9/1
Here, you can flip the second fraction and just multiply across
53/3 * 1/9 = 53/27 or 1 and 26/27

Hope this helped

natima [27]

Answer:

m=0.833333

Step-by-step explanation:

(1/16)−3m+1=64

log((1/16)−3m+1)=log(64)

(Take log of both sides)

(−3m+1)*(log(1/16))=log(64)

−3m+1=log(64)

log(1/16)

−3m+1=−1.5

−3m+1−1=−1.5−1

(Subtract 1 from both sides)

−3m=−2.5

−3m

−3

=

−2.5

−3

(Divide both sides by -3)

Evaluate 9 x 8 = (10 x 8) - ( blank x 8) =80 - blank = blank
Westkost [7]

Answer:

see below

Step-by-step explanation:

9 x 8 = (10 x 8) - ( blank x 8) =80 - blank = blank

We are replacing 9 with 10 minus something

9 = 10 -1

9 x 8 = (10 x 8) - ( 1 x 8)

           80 - 8

levacccp [35]
P = 0.11
1-p = .89
n = 200

mean = n*p = 22
std dev = n*sqrt(p(1-p)/n) = 4.425

find z values for standard normal distribution
Z= (30-22)/4.425 = 1/808
look up table to find P(Z less than 1.808) which is same P(x less than 30)

for 2nd part, you need 2 Z values
Z1 = (25-22) / 4.425 = 0.678
Z2 = (15-22) / 4.425 = -1.58

P(-1.58 less than Z less than 0.678) = P(Z less than .678) - P(Z less than - 1.58)

Ella swims four times a week at her club's pool. She swims the same number of laps on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and 15 laps
ZanzabumX [31]

Answer:

Equation for the problem

3x + 15 = 51 laps

Hence

She swims on

Monday: 12 laps

Wednesday : 12 laps

Friday = 12 laps

Step-by-step explanation:

Ella swims four times a week at her club's pool.

We are told that:

She swims the same number of laps on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Hence, the number rod times that she swims on Monday, Wednesday and Friday is represented by x

Also, she swims 15 laps on Saturday. She swims a total of 51 laps each week. Equation for the problem

= x + x + x + 15 = 51 laps

3x + 15 = 51 laps

Hence

3x = 51 - 15

3x = 36

x = 36/3

x = 12 laps

Therefore, She swims on:

Monday: 12 laps

Wednesday : 12 laps

Friday = 12 laps
