In what way is the theme in this excerpt from "The Lady of Shalott" by Alfred, Lord Tennyson similar to the theme of the poem "U

lysses"? Down she came and found a boat Beneath a willow left afloat, And round about the prow she wrote The Lady of Shalott. And down the river's dim expanse Like some bold seër in a trance, Seeing all his own mischance-- With a glassy countenance Did she look to Camelot. And at the closing of the day She loosed the chain, and down she lay; The broad stream bore her far away, The Lady of Shalott. Both poems explore the idea of pursuing new experiences. Both poems reflect on issues of isolation from society. Both poems use images of water and boats to represent the unknown. Both poems warn against the dangers of embarking on a new journey.

The two components of a solution are solute and solvent. Which statement describes the solvent? A.it is liquid form in the solut
Fudgin [204]

Answer:

The statement which describes the solvent is:

D. It is the component of solution in bigger quantity.

Explanation:

The solute is the substance that is dissolved in the solution. The solvent, on the other hand, is the substance doing the dissolving. Once the solute is dissolved, it breaks down into individual particles, which makes it impossible to distinguish it from the solvent. The solvent is most commonly used in larger quantity than the solute. A simple example we can think of is when we make jello. We need to use a bigger quantity of water than of the jello powder. Water is the solvent, the powder is the solute.
