How is urban land use related to land value?

Geography

<span>Urban land use is determined by the various decisions made by firms, households and the government (primarily local authorities). Firms occupying shops, offices and factories have on occasions to decide whether to expand and, if so, whether to move or redevelop the existing site. Moreover, in a dynamic economy, new firms come into being and have to choose where to locate. Similarly, households decide where to live, and if many people move in a particular direction – for example, to the suburbs – it profoundly affects the character of urban land use. Finally, government authorities influence land use through the control of development, overall transport policy and the siting of roads, and by local authority house-building and comprehensive redevelopment.

hope this helped :)

04-A watershed is:
hram777 [196]

Answer:

The correct answer is B. A watershed is the area contributing water to the runoff of a stream system.

Explanation:

A watershed or hydrographic basin is a territory drained by a single natural drainage system, that is, its waters give the sea through a single river or that it pours its waters to a single endorheic lake. A hydrographic basin is delimited by the line of the summits, also called water division. The use of natural resources is regulated administratively by separating the territory by river basins, and with a view to the future the river basins are emerging as one of the functional division units with much more coherence, allowing true social and territorial integration through water.
