Air pressure is usually highest where the air is thickest. Ants experience the most air pressure because they are all the way on the bottom. We are like mountains to them so all of the atmospheric pressure is resting on them. The lower you are(the thicker the air) the more pressure you have on you. When your elevated the air gets thinner and less air pressure is on you because you get closer to space which has no pressure at all.
