Biology

Antibiotic resistance is problematic due to its effects on society. The bacteria can spread and infect humans and animals. This can often be more difficult to treat because of the non-resistant bacteria.

I think it is problematic due to the microbe resisting affects of the medication that was once successful in treatment. It is also problematic because it can be more difficult to treat because it requires alternative medications or higher doses of antimicrobials which can be more expensive and more toxic.

I hope you find this helpful.

A biologist pollinates a true-breeding yellow flower with pollen from a true-breeding red flower of the same species. All of the
Xelga [282]

Answer:

See the answer below

Explanation:

The question that can be answered with the F2 cross would be if the yellow flower color is dominant over the red flower color in the species. In other words, whether the inheritance of flower color follows a simple Mendelian inheritance or otherwise can be answered.

Assuming that the inheritance of the flower color follows the Mendelian pattern, the red flower trait would re-emerge among the F2 offspring and the ratio of yellow to red flower offspring would approximately be equal to 3:1. Otherwise, a more complex pattern of inheritance would be involved.
