That feeling was directed towards other countries, treating others that they were inferior. This helped spark the Great War. The major countries, Britain, France, and Russia, aligned with each other. They were called the triple Entente. The other 3 big countries, the Austrian-Hungarian Empire, the Germans, and the Italians, were the opposition to the Triple Entente. They were called the Triple Alliance. <span />
