1.)Discuss it with your family it is very important that your family knows that way you can have to encouragement.  2.) can you afford to run an office? When you run for office, your mind is no longer devoted to outside of politics efforts, including your job or your business.  If you are self-employed or a business-owner be certain you can afford the time away from your office financially.  You don’t want to be writing bad personal checks.  News like that travels quickly through the political world..  3.) make up a good decision to run the office, you know that once you are in charge it is a big responsibility and you have to work your best to be good at it.
