An object refers to an inanimate noun that can be used within a sentence under the personal pronoun <em>"it"</em> in the case that it is singular, or under the personal pronoun <em>"they"</em> if it is plural since the large most of the options refer to people (the athlete, the champion, the coach) <u>the only possible option is the prize, which depending on the competition can be a medal, a cup, cash or some other inanimate item</u>.
