Explain how fossils can give information about past environmental conditions. Give at least two examples. Answer using complete
Anna35 [415]
Fossils can give information about past environmental conditions by showing the type of animal they belonged to. If a scientist found a whale fossil in a desert, he/she could assume that the desert was once an ocean as whales only live in oceans. If someone found a fossil of a lizard that inhabited trees, in the middle of the ocean, then he/she could assume that the ocean didn't exist at one point and instead, there might have been a forest in it's place.
Hope this helps!

What is used to increase the extensibility of soft tissues through both autogenic inhibition and reciprocal inhibition?
Vilka [71]

Answer:

Static stretching

Explanation:

Autogenic inhibition  and reciprocal inhibition occur when Golgi tendon Organ is activated leading to inhibition of certain from contracting.

Stretching is a form of exercise that improves muscle's felt elasticity by deliberately flexing it.

Static Stretch entails singular motion held in a place for ten seconds or more and it is used to increase soft tissue extensibility  through both Autogenic and Reciprocal inhibition.

Answer: The basic theme of whale evolution is the development of large animals from much smaller ancestors, and nowhere is this more evident than in the case of multi-ton sperm and gray whales, whose ultimate forebears were small, dog-sized prehistoric mammals that prowled the riverbeds of central Asia 50 million years ago. Perhaps more intriguingly, whales are also a case study in the gradual evolution of mammals from fully terrestrial to fully marine lifestyles, with corresponding adaptations (elongated bodies, webbed feet, blowholes, etc.) at various key intervals along the way.
