Answer C : 3x^2+7xy-2y^2

equivalent to the following expression

(2x^2+4xy-y^2)+(x^2+3xy-y^2)

2x^2+4xy-y^2+x^2+3xy-y^2

Combine like terms

2x^2+x^2+4xy+3xy-y^2-y^2

2x^2 + x^2 is 3x^2

4xy+3xy is 7xy

-y^2-y^2 is -2y^2

So expression becomes

3x^2+7xy-2y^2

Answer  C is correct

Andru [333]

Answer:

The coordinates of your position are x=7, y=0 and z=-2 or in coordinates notation the point given by (7, 0, -2)

Step-by-step explanation:

Since you are starting from the origin of a coordinate system, the coordinates of you position are simply going to be how many units you have moved in each direction.

  1. 7 units in the positive x-axis direction gives you x=7
  2. Then, being in the x-axis, you move 2 units downward parallel to the z-axis. Here the downward gives you a negative sign for the z coordinate, hence, z=-2.
  3. Now, y=0 is given due to the fact that there is no movement in the y-axis direction or you can also say that all the movement have been perpendicular to the y-axis and therefore, your position in this axis is zero.

If the volume for 3-D polyhedra A is 200 cm3 and the volume for 3-D polyhedral B is 800 cm3, how many times bigger is the volume
steposvetlana [31]
You can use the volume of pyramid B divided by volume of pyramid A and multiply 100%. That is 800/200*100%=400%. So the answer is D. 400%.

Anton [14]
<h2>Answer:35 ways</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

^nC_{k} is the number of ways of choosing k distinct objects from a lot of n distinct objects.

In the given question,

n=7\\k=3\\

^nC_{k}=\frac{n!}{(n-k)!k!}

So,^7C_{3}=\frac{7!}{3!4!}=\frac{210}{6}=35

So,there are 35 ways in which three distinct cards can be selecte from seven distinct cards.
