The Ricardian Theory was a theory developed by the classical economist David Ricardo in 1817, where he introduced the law or principle of comparative advantage.

The principle of comparative advantage states that an economic agent will specialize in producing and selling a product or service for which it has a comparative advantage, which is a situation in which a specific agent is able to produce a certain good more efficiently than its competitors (with smaller opportunity costs).

This principle explains the dynamics of international trade and why countries engage in trading some specific goods, for example, why a country buys a product abroad instead of producing it in its territory. Countries will always export the product for which the hold a comparative advantage and import others.

Ricardian equivalence is an economic theory that suggests that when a government tries to stimulate an economy by increasing debt-financed government spending, demand remains unchanged.

Why did President Hayes claim that New Mexico was in “a state of insurrection?”
Firlakuza [10]

Lew Wallace was appointed Governor of New Mexico by President Hayes. Upon Wallace's arrival in his new post, he requested information from the United States marshal on the situation in Lincoln County, a place where lawlessness and violence is rampant. Two days after receiving the report, he telegraphed Secretary of the Interior Carl Schurz, requesting that the President declare a state of insurrection in the county.
The President granted his request.

The Puritans were also known as _________ ___________ because although they did not agree with the Anglican Church they did not
fgiga [73]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Although you did not include the options, we can comment on the following.

The Puritans were also known as church reformers because although they did not agree with the Anglican Church they did not want to break away from it. They simply wanted to purify it.

The case with the Puritans was complex, they wanted to follow their strict religious rules with liberty, but their original intention was no to completely separate from the Church of England. What Puritans purposed was to include reformations to change the Church of England. But things got complicated and the King of England threatened to persecute Puritans if they did not obey the church. That is why Puritans opted to travel to North America and founded the Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1630.
