Besides, name calling, insulting, or any form of abuse can cause emotional trauma that results in a long lasting harm. Also those form of abuse can undermine your child's self esteem, damage their ability to trust and form relationships, and chip away at academic and social skills. Studies show that this can put them in as much risk for depression and anxiety.
