Imagine the 9/100 as a whole number. normally 3 times 9 equals 27. Now with this knowledge divide by 100 and congrats, you get 0.27.

0.27, I know 3 times nine does equal 27. So I divide 100 by 27.

How do we find the area of this shape?
kirill [66]

What you have to do is find the area of the whole rectangle, then subtract of the empty parts:

50*48-0.5(50-41)(48)-6.5(pi(5/2)^2)-1.5pi(4^2)-pi(5^2)-pi=1899.293mm^2

Explanation:

The first subtraction is the area of the triangle.  The rest are the combined areas of the circles and semicircles (semicircles are just half the area of a circle)

Answer:

1899.293mm^2

Which choice is a linear function?<br> Explain<br><br> Please Help
nadya68 [22]

Answer:

Option C

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the following question:

<u>Using the process of elimination, we can find the answer:</u>

It's not option A, because in order for a table to be a linear function the change of x, and the change of y have to be constant. In this case our change in y goes through -2, to -1. Which means option A is not a linear function.

It's not option A because again in order for a table to be a linear function the change of x and the change of y have to be constant. In this case our change of x is constant but our change in y isn't.

It's not option D because in order to have a linear function, you have to be able to rewrite the function into slope intercept (y = mx + b) in this case we only have one real number which is 12, while having our x, and y variable. Which means option D isn't a function.

Which leaves option C or "4x + 3y = 12" which is your answer, because it can be rewritten in slope intercept form.

Hope this helps.
