When a story is told in the order in which the events occurred, this type of organization is called A. chronological order. Chronology has to do with the events being arranged in the order of their occurrence, so this is why A is the correct answer. The remaining options are not necessarily chronological. B, for example, has to do with inserting events from the past, and thus breaking the natural flow of the storytelling. Only the first option has to do with the exact order in which all the events of a literary work have happened.

VARVARA [1.3K]
Throughout the text "The Open Boat" Crane vividly describes the ocean. He speaks of it's constant movement, change in colors, and temperature. The ocean is the biggest adversary to the men in the boat. They are trying to survive the ocean's constant attempts to sink them and pull them away from land. Which statement implies that parents are harming their children by NOT vaccinating them? A) "The diseases we immunize against ar
Bond [772]

A) "The diseases we immunize against are not gone and they are still deadly."

This quote best shows the harm that can come from a child not being vaccinated for deadly diseases. In this quote it shows that a child who contracts a disease that he or she could be vaccinated for may end up dead. Option B would support the idea of not vaccinating and the question needs evidence to support vaccinations. Option C is neutral either way. It is simply stating a fact without encouraging for or against vaccinations. Option D addresses parents concerns that vaccinations lead to autism. This does not imply that parents harm their children by NOT vaccinating them.
