She is denied access to funtown and just as she is made inferior by the one who doesn't let her pass due to her colour, she begins to learn about society's inequality and that people will try to degrade her. The rays of sun her original idea that she could do anything regardless of colour are blocked out by the 'clouds of inferiority'.
