Answer:

I would feel the same way. Knowing how the man feels at the end hearing his own voices, goes to show me what the brain can do that us as people have no control over. In all I would feel despaired and hopeless.

Sentence 16 and 17: (16) Students
Nataliya [291]

We can deduce here that combining sentences 16 and 17 to introduce a list with a colon gives us: D. Students would have time to do the following: relax, pursue their hobbies, and spend extra time with their families.

What is colon?

Colon is actually known to be a punctuation mark which is used in English Language to introduce a list of things.

We see here that combining the two sentences in order to introduce a list, "...the following" followed by colon (:) was introduced. This is correct.

When Harrison Bergeron is completely free from his handicaps, he defies the laws of gravity and motion. What might Vonnegut be s
saw5 [17]

Answer:

Kurt Vonnegut Jr. suggests that a man free of any restrains have the potential of defying the government.

Explanation:

Kurt Vonnegut Jr. wrote his short story "Harrison Bergeron" based on a dystopian society where in the name of equality, people are intentionally mad 'handicapped'. The protagonist of the story Harrison was a man of exceptional qualities but he had to wear disguises so that he can be equal with the rest.

This story is a sort of political metaphor that seems to suggest what will happen when people actually break free from the shackles of governmental controls. Harrison also broke free of his disguises and proclaims himself to be "Emperor", trying to free the others of their "handicaps". The "Empress" ballerina, the musicians and the others in the television studio all had handicaps on them too, which Harrison began to tear apart. But in the end, Harrison and his "Empress" were killed by the Handicapper General, Dina Moon Glampers.

When Harrison took hold of control over the government's "equality" disguise, he was able to free some of their "handicaps". This momentary short lived freedom is suggestive of a person's ability to defy the government. But then, some freedoms don't last long and the restrain continues.

Please answer this correctly without making mistakes
Ulleksa [173]

Answer:

I believe it is Began, because of the information below.

Explanation:

In modern English “began” is the simple past tense of “begin” “he began to study for the test at midnight.” But the past participle form—preceded by a helping verb—is “begun.” “By morning, he had begun to forget everything he'd studied that night.

I got this information off the web, so do not copy the above, but from the information, I gathered I do believe it would be began. You can decide for yourself, but I hope this helps! Thanks and BRAINLIEST PLEASE!

I might be wrong, so please do tell me if I am!
