The reason English spread and evolved was because after World War II, most major industries that you see nowadays, were formed off of english speaking people. This drove other countries to adapt it as an official language. You can guess that this growth of the language helped develop and evolve the language. I don't know all of the answer choices for this, but that's my personal explanation and you can probably follow that to find your answer.
