Answer:

Hope this helps! Please give Brainliest!!

Explanation:

Dear Journal,

I have just started the journey to freedom. I left Missouri a few day days ago and I am heading up to Illinois. I am on this journey so I can be free and make money to make it possible for my family to escape too. Living as a slave is terrible and I will feel such relief when I can come back for my family. Life has been easier than being a slave traveling but it has still been difficult. I go days at a time without food and feel very lonely. I pass kind people on the way but I can never stay too long I have to keep moving. My biggest hopes are to safely get to freedom, make money, and come back for my family. My biggest fear is getting caught and being forced back into slavery. I think when I get there I will have to get nicer clothes as to not raise suspicion. I will then have to find somewhere to stay and get a job.

What events and problems may have affected the success of the great society
Paul [167]

Answer:

Hi!

The events and problems that may have affected the success of the Great Society were the war on poverty, tax cut- spurred spending, funding Great Society caused budget deficit, and fear of communism (increase of communist forces in Vietnam).Historian Alan Brinkley has suggested that the most important domestic achievement of the Great Society may have been its success in translating some of the demands of the civil rights movement into law. Four civil rights acts were passed, including three laws in the first two years of Johnson's presidency.

You have explored a portion of each party’s platform. How do the parties’ views on energy compare?
aniked [119]

Answer:

In their positions on energy, the Republican and Democratic Parties agree that the nation needs to increase its fuel efficiency. The platforms are also similar in calling for energy independence and the development of our natural resources. They support researching forms of energy, such as wind and solar power. There are few differences between the two platforms. I agree with the two parties that now is the time to responsibly manage our energy production.
