Answer:

Correct Answer is D. All of the Above

Explanation:

Losing the glaciation in the Alps would result in a lot of consequences for Europe, Apart from cultural loss, Europe would lose one of the main Fresh drinking water sources they have, affecting mainly the communities near the mountains.

Another factor is that the Alps are also a very important tourist attraction for Europe, many visitors go to the Alps attending many events being held in the mountains or simply going for a hike, the economic loss would be devastating.

Switzerland currently has one of the many important hydroelectric dams that uses the water that flows down the Alps, without the glaciation the water running down will decrease in quantity gradually, leading to a loss of electric energy in the country, and because they sell this energy to other countries the consequence would be devastating.

How does distance from the sea affect the climate?
OleMash [197]

Answer:

Oceans heat up and cool down much more slowly than land. This means that coastal locations tend to be cooler in summer and warmer in winter than places inland at the same latitude and altitude.

Explanation:

Ocean currents act as conveyer belts of warm and cold water, sending heat toward the polar regions and helping tropical areas cool off, thus influencing both weather and climate. Land areas also absorb some sunlight, and the atmosphere helps to retain heat that would otherwise quickly radiate into space after sunset.

Describe how continents and coeans are carried on tectontic plates
horsena [70]
Seems very basic, the ocean is above the plate, the plate material is heavier than water (it being rock). That's pretty much all of it. The plates grind a little and new land pushes up at plate boundaries but this does not seem to be related. The heavier material is below and the lighter above, those being rock and water respectively.
