Why was charles dickens described as a "human hurricane"?
Lynna [10]

Charles Dickens was called “human hurricane” due to his genius and great spirit.

His friends gave him the nickname “human hurricane” as they all brushed aside their ordinary habits and occupations whenever he came to see them. One of his friends, Mrs. Fields, stated that all these habits and occupations were brushed aside until “human hurricane had swept by… The sense of genius could not be more forcibly felt then in the hurrying flight of this great spirit”.

The napoleonic code reflected what idea of the French revolution?
Novay_Z [31]
That a strong central government was needed instead of classes that wielded power over the poor. The Revolution did away with the 3 estates in which the nobility and clergy lorded heavily over the common people. Napoleon expanded on this, strengthening the central government and attempting to strengthen the economy instead of holding it in one area of the populace.

One reason why many radio stations opted for a local or regional approach in the 1950s was:
deff fn [24]

Answer:

The correct answer is A. audiences for popular music shifted from radio to television

Explanation:

In 1948 the radio reached its peak in relation to financial success. However, after 1948, national media dominated by network radio succumbed from 46% in 1945 to 25% in 1952. In the late 1950s, most radio stations disengaged from networks, switching to cheaper programs. Thus, the radio was transformed from a national to a local advertising medium, and its centrality in american popular culture was quickly occulted by television.
