How did World War II contribute to the outbreak of the Korean War?

Answer:

As world War II was finished the Korean territory was divided as Korea was a colony of Japan from 1910 until 1945. This separation created two sides one affiliated to capitalism and the other to socialism. In 1950 the north tried to invade the south starting the war and setting the tension between socialism and capitalism until the fall of the Berlins wall in 1991.
