What makes one form of framing the world better than the other? (Plato's Allegory of the Cave and Conceptions of the Soul)
erma4kov [3.2K]

Answer:

What makes one way of framing the world better than the other is the presence of pure and true knowledge.

Explanation:

The allegory of the cave and the conceptions of the soul were metaphors created by Plato to explain human existence in the real world and the need for true and complete knowledge. In The Allegory of the Cave, Plato shows how lack of knowledge can deceive us and allow us to live in a situation of mental imprisonment, where we are trapped in incorrect ideas and false images that present the world in a completely incorrect and misleading way. The human being is only free when he leaves the cave and has access to real knowledge, thus being able to engage with true information. This concept can be associated with the concept of conception of the soul where Plato informs that the human mind is responsible for the rational side that manages wisdom and prudence, which are essential elements for human life. The rational side of the soul is stimulated by true knowledge and this is what makes the human being able to frame the world in the best possible way and in a way superior to those who do not have the knowledge.

How did the US and Soviet Union attempt to limit the possibility of global nuclear destruction
FrozenT [24]

The United States and the Soviet Union attempted to limit the possibility of global nuclear destruction by engaging in a policy known as "Mutually Assured Destruction"

So, to do this, they would ensure that they were always evenly armed. So, if one side went off the only side's missiles would automatically launch killing both sides.

What development allowed hunter/gatherer groups of humans to build large cities?
yarga [219]

It would be the development in agricultural knowledge/technology

Development in agriculture enable hunter/gatherer society to shift their behavior. Before this, they had to keep moving from one place to another in order to seek food to live.

After the development in agricultural knowledge/technology, the society now can stay in one exact place for a long period of time and relied on agricultural product as their main source food.

After living in one same place for a long time, the needs to build things to accommodate their living start to arise. They start to built several things and repeat the process every year. In the end, large cities were developed from the initially small hunter/gatherer society.
