John Maynard Keynes believed that to the end the Great Depression, government should SPEND AND BUY MORE GOODS AND SERVICES. 
Keynesian economics holds that the economy is made up of three sectors, which are individuals, businesses and government and that the government actions has the capacity to make up for the changes in the other two sectors. During the great depression of 1930s, John Keynes suggested to the government that it should increased its expenditure and lower taxes to stimulate demand and pull the country out of depression.
