Which details does the author use in "august heat" to develop the theme that extreme weather conditions influence human behavior

? select each correct answer. but the heat is stifling. it is enough to send a man mad. the one thing of which i was fully conscious was the awful heat, that came up from the dusty asphalt pavement as an almost palpable wave. “everything is hot and glary outside,” i said. “this seems an oasis in the wilderness.” there seemed nothing in the man strong enough to sustain that mountain of flesh.

Which best explains why the Supreme Court’s decision in Plessy v. Ferguson was unconstitutional?
erastovalidia [21]
The rule is obviously unconstitutional. Segregation by race is contrary to the phrase “All men are created equal” in the U.S Declaration of Independence and U.S Constitution. Well, the Plessy v. Ferguson just upended that, which decided that segregation laws are okay as long as there were equal in quality. The Brown v. Board of Education stated that separate educational facilities are inherently unequal, almost effectively nulling the racist rule.

Who’s Who In the Lewis and Clark Expedition

The Expedition’s Founder

Thomas Jefferson (1743-1826)

Early in his presidency, Thomas Jefferson’s interest in science led him to solicit

advice from the most important scientific minds in the Republic in preparation for a

major scientific expedition to explore the western regions of the North American

continent. In January 1803 Jefferson sent a secret message to Congress urging approval

for the western expedition. The unexpected purchase of Louisiana in April added to the

importance of the proposed scientific venture that was to be led by Jefferson’s personal

secretary and fellow Virginian, Meriwether Lewis.

John was taught by his teacher to say, "Hello" when greeting people. Now when he meets people he not only says "hello," but also
Flauer [41]

Answer:

The answer is response generalisation.

Explanation:

This occurs when a target response (i.e. the desired behaviour) spreads to other similar variations. For example, a child might be taught to cut a piece of food with a knife, but then starts doing it with a fork.

Response generalisation is independent of place and time. An example is learning to wash your hands before eating, which may occur at school, home and other places.
