Answer:

The correct answer is C. The Haitian Revolution made landowners in other Western Hemisphere countries treat  their slaves more humanely.

Explanation:

The Haitian revolution was a revolt that broke out for the abolition of slavery and against colonialism by a group of slaves against the French colonial government in Saint-Domingue, now Haiti. It began on August 1791 and ended in 1804 with the independence of the colony. It was at the time the only state that had formed into an independent nation thanks to a slave revolt and that was governed not by whites but by ex-slaves.

Its effects had a significant influence on slavery policy in the Americas. It greatly contributed to change the common belief about the inferiority role of black people and the ability of slaves to obtain and maintain their freedom. The organizational capacity of the rebels and their tenacity shocked and frightened many slaveholders.

Which statement best describes Margaret Sanger? She advocated for women's right to own property and campaigned for the Married W
Marina CMI [18]

She advocated for women's health and helped educate women about birth control and family planning.

Margaret Sanger is the founder of Planned Parenthood.

During the early 20th century, Margaret Sanger worked with women, in particular immigrant women, to discover family planning. Sanger wanted birth control methods legalized to help women control the size of their families. She also believed in eugenics which meant she believed certain populations of people should be controlled in their birthrate to prevent large numbers of undesirable people. Common thinking of the time was to control the rate at which immigrants, in particular Catholic immigrants, were having children. Pushing for women's health and birth control to be legal would help to develop a more controlled and moral society in her opinion.

How do antitrust laws encourage competition
Marat540 [252]
At their core, antitrust laws are meant to break up businesses who work together to act like monopolies. Monopolies reduce the amount of competition in the market place, as this term indicates when one company has cornered a share of the market. For example, if only one company made cellphones, this would reduce competition and increase the price of phones since you can only them from one place.

By implementing antitrust laws, the government is aiming to make sure that there are no monopoly like coalitions. Monopolies have a negative effect on the consumers, as they can manipulate prices.
