Independent clauses have three components: They have a subject - they tell the reader what the sentence is about.

Read the excerpt from We’ve Got a Job by Cynthia Levinson.
Bogdan [553]

Answer:

The general statement about the Movement that is most likely true is:

D) All of the participants in the march were deeply inspired by the Movement.

Explanation:

When we read the excerpt attentively, we notice it does not give us enough information to conclude if everyone had their parents permission, if they all belonged to the same church, or if everybody was crying tears of joy. What the excerpt does let us know is that the participants were inspired by the movement. The narrator tells that people participating in the demonstration were well organized, as well as aware of what was going to happen. They knew they'd be arrested, but were still so inspired that they marched on, defying authorities. As the narrator says, "The ... Movement was moving forward. It was just overwhelming."

Visual sources should be used within the discussion to reinforce and explain the written information.
lutik1710 [3]

Answer: I’m not exactly sure how you’d like us to answer this, but maybe I can help.

Explanation:

Visual sources should be used to add both aesthetics and interest in your subject. It helps create a better understanding of your topic by giving your audience an example of what you’re discussing. This also goes for graphs and charts. Instead of using numbers and percentages, showing a visualization gives the audience an easy understanding.

CAN SOMEONE HELP ME URGENTLY!!!!!!!!! 2) Choose the adjectives in the following sentence. In this case, do not count the article
Delicious77 [7]

Answer and Explanation:

As we know, an adjective is a word that modifies a noun or a pronoun by attributing a quality to it. Let's focus on each sentence at a time:

- The monstrous shuttle pitched forward slightly, then rocked back. --> According to the number in parentheses, we only have one adjective here. In that case, it can only be monstrous, indicating the quality of the shuttle, its appearance.

- Over seven million pounds of thrust pushed the anxious men upward. --> According to the number in parentheses, we have two adjectives here. Numbers are usually adjectives. In this case, the number we have is seven million, and it is modifying the noun "pounds". Besides that, anxious is also an adjective, modifying the noun "men".

- The solid-rocket booster engines lit, and the shaking roar told the astronauts they were entering outer space. --> Now, we are supposed to have four adjectives in the sentence. The noun "engines" is being modified by two adjectives: first by solid-rocket, then by booster. The next adjective is shaking, modifying the noun "roar". Finally, we have outer, modifying the noun "space".
