Despite all her problems, Alisha is an optimistic person.

The optimist has the ability to transform situations and problems into continuous learning.

This brings as a consequence a permanent self motivation, which allows it to reach its highest performance. Contrary to what many think, these people are distinguished by recognizing the challenges, not discouraged and see the options available to solve them.

Optimists Far from avoiding problems, they assume them and face them more quickly, to turn them into valuable lessons.

Answer:

Dickens, the novel, which spans action in the cities of London and Paris

Explanation:

In context, which is the best version of the underlined portion of sentence 1 (reprinted below)? A Tale of Two Cities, the second of only two historical novels written by Charles Dickens, the novel spans action in the cities of London and Paris during the years 1775–1793.

A Tale of Two Cities dates back to the previous century and sets it stories in the beginning of the French Revolution. Paris is embodied as a city where corruption by the political leaders leads revolutionaries to rise up against the powerful but the violence that replaces that corruption is worse. The London of the book is relatively peaceful and quiet in a village of Soho where a loving family was raised by Charles Darnay and Lucie Manette.

Proposed the hierarchy of needs.
olya-2409 [2.1K]

Answer:

Abraham Maslow proposed the hierarchy of needs.

Explanation:

Abraham Maslow was an American psychologist known as one of the founders and main exponents of humanistic psychology, a psychological current that postulates the existence of a basic human tendency towards mental health, which would manifest itself as a series of self-actualization search processes and self realisation. Its position is usually classified in psychology as a "third force", and is theoretically and technically located between the paradigms of behaviorism and psychoanalysis. His latest works also define him as a pioneer of humanistic psychology. Maslow's best-known theoretical development is the pyramid of needs, a model that poses a hierarchy of human needs, in which the satisfaction of the most basic or subordinate needs gives rise to the successive generation of higher or superordinate needs. However, according to Maslow, only those unmet needs generate an alteration in the behavior since a supplied need does not generate any effect by itself. Another fundamental principle of his theory is that which suggests that the only needs that are born with the individual are those of the base, that is to say, the physiological needs and that the others arise from these needs once they have been met.
