Italians and Germans supported Francisco Franco in the Spanish Civil War because they wanted to develop new equipment and strategies to use in future wars.

The Nationalist Faction received weapons of all kinds and airplanes practically from the first day on the part of Germany and Italy to which soon complete military units were added (the German Condor Legion and the Italian CTV) in a continuous flow that never stopped throughout the war.

Give three detailed reason why confederate statues should be taken down.
kirill115 [55]
Statues are usually made to honor or commemorate a person/event. By making a confederate statue, one is honoring the confederacy; that would mean that that person is also honoring the fight to keep slavery. Slavery is absolutely NOT something that should be honored. In the present day, Black people, as well as POCs in general, have the same rights as you and me. However, they still face racism, and keeping confederate statues does nothing to help that; if anything, they show support for racism. All confederate statues should be taken down.

(Just IMO, you don’t need to write this, having a confederate flag is almost as bad as having a swastika honestly. Both are supporting horrid events.)

The cost of the Civil War was much higher for the South. Most of the fighting took place in the south which took a higher toll financially. Besides, most of the factories and rail lines were in the north which made it easier to get supplies and food to Union troops.

Explanation:

The south was finanicaly destroyed during the war. When the war was over they had to rebuild from the ground up, could no longer relay on cheap slave labor to work the fields of he cash crops.
