There are several things you can do to prepare for an exam.

1. don't cram the night before
2. try to avoid distractions
3. study with other people
4. ask the teacher for help throughout the semester/year
5. if you have taken good notes, study from them
6. outline your chapters throughout the year
7. use other sources to help you study if you are still confused about a certain thing
8. if your teacher has given you a study guide use that to help you prepare for the exam
9. visualize success

Have a really good night's sleep, also go over the most important topics, the one's where there are many things that branch off from it. Also eat a really healthy breakfeast. And try to stay calm, the more stressed you will be, the harder the exam will be
