Ana is planning to build an electrical circuit. are connected to a light bulb, then the light bulb will burn longer than if two
Tpy6a [65]

Answer: a. it is based on prior knowledge, but it has not been widely tested on her circuit.

Explanation:

A theory has been tested and has data to back it up in its quest to explain a phenomenon.

A Hypothesis on the other hand is not yet tested and reflects what the person stating it thinks will happen if certain conditions exist. It is therefore based on previous knowledge with the view to apply that knowledge to a phenomenon to explain it.

Ana has no evidence backing her assertion which is why she uses the word <em>"if". </em>She however bases her assertion on previous knowledge making this a hypothesis.

What is the bystander effect? Why do you think this occurs?
Andrews [41]
It is when people stand by and watch what is happening instead of offering help or providing it in an emergency situation. This tends to occur because because people are too scared and/or shocked to help.

People commit crimes due to poverty, alcohol, drug, self-esteem issues, even because of their upbringing, etc. society should stop advertising drugs and alcohol in order to try and help the home environments.
