Conflict is (just like in real lives) the struggle between two opposing forces. You can recognize a conflict in a story when there is a disagreement between the protagonist and other characters, or between two opposing characters. Sorry if i'm being repetitive.

Conflict is when something happens in a story, most of the time, because of conflict, that's why characters fight. So usually, when you see to characters fighting, that means its a conflict. A conflict is happening.
