The March Revolution was mainly caused by the shortages of food and fuel that were caused by the defeats in World War I. People were hungry and had no confidence in the government. Also, people had the feeling that Monarchy did not care for poor.

The March Revolution led to the Bolshevik Revolution because Lenin, who was the leader of the Bolshevik’s spread the idea of communism and equality among people. People who were already angered supported the idea which led to the Revolution.
