1. B  is 80 feet

2. C. is 135 feet

Explanation

In the image of the cartography, a contour line will join points of equal elevations thus the contour interval in a contour map shows the difference in elevation between successive contour lines. Topographic maps use contours to represent the terrain of a region. The darker contour lines on the map are index contour lines.

According to the image, the contour lines passes through 25, and B located between 75 and 100 feet thus the nearest option will be 80 feet Point X is located above 125 feet in the elevation thus the best pick will be 135 feet.

How are meiosis and mitosis similar. How are they different
Natalija [7]
Similarities between mitosis and meiosis:

Both mitosis and meiosis are processes of cell division. They use the same steps for cell division, including prophase, metaphase, anaphase and telophase.

Differences between mitosis and meiosis:

Mitosis is the process of asexual reproduction, while meiosis involves sexual reproduction. Higher life forms, such human beings and animals undergo meiosis. The resulting offspring is genetically different in the case of meiosis, while the offspring is identical in the case of mitosis. Meiosis includes two steps of division, compared to the single step of mitosis. During the process of meiosis, the number of chromosomes is reduced by half, while in mitosis, they remain the same. Also, mitosis produces 2 diploid cells, while meiosis produces 4 haploid cells.

Hope this helps.
