Huang He is also known as the river of sorrows because of the devastating floods that often destroys the villages near it. The earliest civilization of China settled near the Huang He river for water source but because of its elevated river bed in its lower course, floods frequently wipe the villages. As mentioned below.

  • Ecosystem services are those services that t]are essential for the survival of the planet's ecosystem and these systems are necessary for the maintenance of the earth's biological systems.
  • These services can be grouped s the food, water regulating and disease controlling systems that support nutrient cycles and oxygen production and plus have spiritual and recreational benefits associated with them.
  • Natural resources are those resources that are found in natural ecosystems and these systems have various life-supporting services an example of natural resource is coal, oil deposits in rocks which provide their services to man.
  • The main reasons for the conversion of ecological systems by society are to protect and maintain tian these reserves for the future generations sustainably.
  • My personal opinion, about the conservation and preservation of the ecosystem, is that the earth has nurtured us and give us resources which we depleted due to our needs now it's up to the man who has to make sure that he doesn't destroy its carry capacity.

The first consequence that the partition of India had was the relocation of between 14-16 million people. Hindu and Sikhs who lived in the area that is now Pakistan moved to the territory of India, while Muslims in Indian territory followed the opposite route. This had an impact not only on the lives of the migrants, but also on the culture of the new nations.

Another effect was that the population of Pakistan was extremely homogeneous in terms of religious identity. Less than 2% of its population was not Muslim by 1951. In turn, this complicated the political situation of Muslims in India.

Finally, a consequence of the partition is the fact that there are still disputed territories between the two nations. One of this is the region of Kashmir, which interests both nations mainly because of its economic significance.
