. 2. Read the following paragraph from "Wanted: A Town Without a Crazy." So to enter the town with the honor and glory befitting

a loony, I had to start with my clothes. First, I went and had an extra long, bright red topcoat made. I smeared it with mud to make it look old and ripped holes in it left and right. Then I went to the flea market and bought piles of worthless old money and bizarre medals. These I pinned here and there on the coat. Around my waist I bound a thick belt and hung a frying pan to one end on a cord. The frying pan was to be my guitar. I hung things all around my belt: a ladle, wooden spoons, a potty, an old electric clock, a women's umbrella, a cast-iron stove lid. Clanging and rattling all over, I boarded a bus. The people on the minibus broke into laughter, so I stood up, and using my frying pan as a guitar, sang all the songs I knew. Laughing and clapping, they were so light-hearted it was indescribable. Some threw oranges for me to eat, others gave me candy, and some money. Not only that, the bus driver not only failed to ask me for fare but invited me to his home: ”Where have you been all this time? Come every day, the food and drinks are on me.” Which of these sentences most effectively summarizes the main ideas in this paragraph? (1 point) The loony impressed the people on the bus by using a frying pan for a guitar and singing songs for them as entertainment. The people of the town were amused by their new loony's unusual appearance and seemed to take delight in his performance on the minibus. In order to become a loony, Helmi purchased new clothes, ripped holes in them, and pinned bizarre medals in all over himself in random order. The loony began his career by purchasing a new coat and tying to it a belt hung with a ladle, wooden spoons, a potty, a clock, a women's umbrella, and an iron stove lid.

Act 4 what medicine is iago referring to? what might this imply
Setler79 [48]
In Act IV, Iago references his "medicine," which is doing its work.

He is referring to the rumors he started involving Desdemona. He says that this "medicine" is the way to catch "credulous fools" -- meaning that Othello is gullible enough to believe the lie Iago started.

With his medicine, or his lies, Iago is bringing about Othello's destruction. He is happy to see Othello believing Desdemona is unfaithful.
