Interpretation is a hermeneutical exercise in which a person aims at uncovering or discovering the sense or meaning of the contents of any form of discourse. As such, it is a highly subjective process that, nevertheless, rests on objective coordinates —after all, one is always dealing with a specific discourse and its contents that allow for more or less correct interpretations.
