Answer

You are certainly connected to your body through a mind, heart, spirit, emotions, and other connecting ligaments. These body components are connected with each in order to function well. Every feeling that you have inside translates and reflects in your actions. If you are feeling depressed, your physical body is also affected. You lose your appetite and your overall health is adversely affected. Your hair loss, you also lose weight and your actions become sluggish. It is the same the other way around. If your body gets bruised or you cut yourself, the physical pain is also shown in your expression.

In at least one hundred words, explain the significance of the carp in Wang's "The Carp."
Nikolay [14]
In "The Carp," by Yun Wang, the use of the carp to represent something deeper is an example of Synecdoche. The carp is used to represent the pain and injustice of her father’s imprisonment. “The Carp is dedicated to Wang’s father, and many of the poems in her little book tell stories from that period.

Remember, a symbol is an object that takes on a meaning other than its literal meaning.

In the poem, the carp is literally a fish that takes on a deeper meaning. Confucius named his son Carp, and his son died young. The speaker's father was imprisoned and beaten. Therefore, the carp represents sadness and pain.

What is the difference between a Summary and an essay ?
lubasha [3.4K]
Ummarizing something is like paraphrasing it.

Making it smaller while still holding the general gist of something.

People generally summarize when they are taking notes.

An essay is a longer piece of work that is written on a topic from the author's point of view.
