and the distant buzz of the far away kite
the birds singing their lovely tune
the owls hooting while I look at the moon
the angelic voice of a legendary singer
but never someone pulling a trigger
I dislike the sound of barking dogs
and woodpeckers pecking aimlessly at logs
the loud sounds of children crying
and the loud cries of animals dying
I never liked the sounds of the street
the horns, cars, trucks, never sounded sweet
