Answering the questions- summarizing usually comes first, followed by underlining the topic sentences and actually reading and taking notes on the text.

To make your speech clear and understandable, use words with which the audience will be.
expeople1 [14]

To make your speech clear and understandable, use words with which the audience will be familiar.

One of the main objectives of a speech is to make your point of view clear to the audience who is listening to your speech. For this purpose, it is essential that familiar, simple words be chosen in your speech so that the audience can better relate to your speech.

Oftentimes, a speaker chooses complex words from the dictionary thinking that by using big words he might be able to impress the listeners. However, this strategy is not a good one because the audience needs to understand what point you are making through your speech.

Hence, familiar words shall always be used in a speech.

Although a part of your question is missing, you might be referring to this question:

To make your speech clear and understandable, use words with which the audience will be:

- distracted

-familiar

-unknown

-unwanted
