How does this document help you explain the question: How did the Nile shape ancient Egypt
nalin [4]
Technically, the only way to correctly answer this question is to read the document itself but the answers pretty simple to answer without it too.

The Nile was the holy grail for the people of ancient Egypt. After all, it provided water to drink, and also water for agriculture. It also provided the Egyptians with many fertile lands that were great for farming. Because of this, they prayed to their gods all the time so that the Nile wouldn't dry out.

What event, more than any other led to WWI?
Solnce55 [7]

While there was much buildup pre-World War I, it is commonly understood that the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand on 28 June 1914 in Sarajevo pushed the world to war as a result of a complex web of treaties and diplomatic obligations that quickly were triggered and resulted in sides being chosen.

In the declaration of independence, the colonists complained that the king had taken control of the judges in their court system
alekssr [168]
This violated the separation of powers idea

The separation of powers was that power should be separated between various people or institutions in order to ensure that the government is fair. If the King controls the courts then the courts just act according to the King's will, even if the King does something that is illegal which means that the King is a tyrant and an absolutist.
