S is given as 58 degrees.

There are 180 degrees in a triangle. Using this you know that S + T + TUS = 180

T is given as 5x + 10

TUS can be defined as TUS + AUT = 180, or TUS = 180 - AUT

AUT is given as 11x + 2

Plug everything into the first equation to give you 58 + (5x + 10) + (180 - (11x + 2)) = 180

Solve for x, and be careful with the negative in front of (11x+2)

58 + 10 + 180 - 2 + 5x - 11x = 180

-6x = -66
x = 11

Plug x back into the equations for AUT and T to get your final answers.

AUT = 11(11) + 2 = 123 degrees
S = 58 degrees
T = 5(11) + 10 = 65 degrees
TUS = 180 - AUT = 180 - 123 = 57 degrees

You can check your answer by making sure
S + T + TUS = 180, which it does.

Can someone please help with the last problem
Brut [27]

Answer:

  18x +9h

Step-by-step explanation:

Such problems are tedious, but not difficult. The trick is to avoid making mistakes in the algebra.

  \dfrac{f(x+h)-f(x)}{h}=\dfrac{(9(x+h)^2)-(9x^2)}{h}\\\\=\dfrac{9(x^2+2xh+h^2)-9x^2}{h}=\dfrac{18xh+9h^2}{h}=\boxed{18x+9h}

d1i1m1o1n [39]

Answer:

3 t-shirts

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Lets recap the information we will use from this problem:</u>

The ticket to the festival costs $87.96

T-shirts are $30.00

She is taking $200.00 to the festival

Now we can solve. First we will subtract the price of the ticket from the total amount of money she has.

$200.00 - $87.96 = $112.04

Now that she has payed for the ticket, we want to find out how many shirts she can buy with the remainder of her money. To find this, we will set up an equation like this:

(Amount of money left) ÷ (Cost of 1 t-shirt) = (How many t-shirts she can buy)

Insert your numbers: $112.04 ÷ $30.00 = 3.73466666667

Because she cant buy a fraction of a t-shirt, we ignore the decimals on the end of this number. Therefore, Staci can purchase 3 t-shirts.

Mekhanik [1.2K]

Answer:

sum of 22nd = 1,428.05

sum of 23 to 40 is 932.53

Step-by-step explanation:

A(n)=20(1.1)^n-1

20 is the first term or a1

1.1 is the common ratio or r

A(22) = 20(1.1)^22-1

22nd term = 20(1.1)^21

22nd term = 148.00

sum of geometric sequence

formula

Sn = a1(1-r^n)/1-r

Sn = sum

a1 = first term

n = number of term

r = constant ratio

sum of 22nd = 1,428.05.

23 to 40 is 17 terms

Sequence: 23, 25.3, 27.83, 30.613, 33.6743, 37.04173, 40.745903 ...

The 17th term: 105.684378686

Sum of the first 17 terms: 932.528165548
