The history of capitalism is the subject of debate and various scientific opinions, which are based on the conditions for the emergence of capitalism. It is believed that a fully developed form of capitalism originated in northwestern Europe, primarily in the areas of today's Flanders and the Netherlands, then in Britain during the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. Over the centuries, capitalism has been accumulated by various methods, by the great variation and concentration of economic power and wealth. Nevertheless, according to some scientists, the concept of commercialization has contributed to the emergence and development of capitalism, where the dominant influence of urbanization is focused on the movement of goods from areas with lower product prices to areas with higher economic prices, the so-called mercantilism characteristic of the early modern Dutch Republic. Other scholars argue that capitalism was created on the basis of an agrarian model typical of Britain, where the emphasis on the production of goods traded is primarily concerned.
Certainly, if we take into account the beginnings of any form of capitalism, the answer would be the Netherlands.
